This is a message to the admin. Your website:http://www.jackfertig.com/wordpress/?p=1431 is missing out on at least 300 visitors per day. I discovered this page via Google but it was difficult to find as you were not on the first page of search results. I have found a website which offers to dramatically increase your traffic to your site: http://aerotraffic.com/web-traffic/. I managed to get over 10,000 visitors per month using their services, you could also get lot more targeted visitors than you have now. Hope this helps :) Take care.

I was very curious about your article and noticed that you had the same dreams and goals as I do. I am only 18 years old and looking for any little oppurtunity to get my name out to coaches and do some sort of work under them. I will be attending the University of Arkansas in the fall of 2013 and I am currently attempting to set up a meeting with our new head coach; Coach Bret Bielema. If you could in any way, contact me or just give a little advise for what I should do to achieve my goals at a successful level at (479)-409-3185 or my email address above. Highly appreciate it and God bless.

Jack Taylor's effective FG % from the field was 60.6% - Don't care how many shots you took, who was guarding you, what level you were playing at, the coach's offensive philosophy, that's getting it done. Special shooting night that will probably never be duplicated.

I answered my own questions. I found the box score reproduce at:

http://www.sheridanhoops.com/2012/11/21/sh-blog-nba-players-go-wild-for-jack-taylors-138-point-night/2/

Taylor: 108 shots in 36 minutes (1 shot every 20 seconds)
Everyone else on Grinnell: 28

I guess they ran their offense through Taylor. :-)

You wouldn't happen to have a link to the boxscore, would you? His 108 shots means he put up a shot every 22 seconds in the game (assuming he played all 40 minutes, which is doubtful given how Grinnell subs). It would seem that he must have taken nearly all the shots when he was on the floor. It would be interesting to see how many shots the team took as a whole.

BTW, I enjoy your blog!

Dear Jack,

If you played on either the 1968 or 1969 Highland Park football teams, then you were more or less responsible for breaking all of our hearts in Carteret.

The head coach at Carteret told us that he was "tired of seeing that fat guy (Jay Dakelman) carried off the field on the shoulders of his players." I saw that happen twice while I was there.

Dakelman turned lead into gold with his teams. My coach did the opposite.
